Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 1/2-1 Tb chili powder (depending on how spicy you want it!)
- 2 tsp curry powder
- 2-3 garlic cloves
- 8 dates
- 1/2 inch nub fresh ginger (~1 tsp fresh grated ginger)
- 1/4 c coconut aminos
- 1 tsp fish sauce
- 1 Tb sesame oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425. Place chicken wings on a wire rack over a baking sheet. Season with salt and bake for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, soak dates in hot water for 10 minutes. Drain. Add all ingredients (except chicken wings, obviously) to a blender and blend until relatively smooth.
- Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes or so. Then, add chicken and sauce to a bowl and toss to coat completely. Sprinkle with sesame seeds (if desired) and serve with homemade ranch or mayo!
