Pork Tongue Tacos

Cilantro Avocado Creme

  • 1 avocado
  • ½ c cilantro
  • 2 Tb lemon juice
  • 2 Tb coconut milk


  1. Put all shredded pork tongue ingredients in a small crockpot. If desired, add broth (you may find it easier to shred – mine shredded fine without, but required more elbow grease).
  2. Cook on low for 6-7 hours. Use 2 forks to shred the tongue.
  3. To make the cilantro avocado creme, simple add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
